Shelter / Hospiz von Anastasia aus Irpin/Ukraine (englisch/deutsch)

In meiner Freundesliste bei Facebook ist eine Ukrainerin, die mit einer Anastasia aus Irpin befreundet ist und mir über die Timeline immer mal wieder Tierschutz-Postings angezeigt werden. So kam es dann, dass ich mir das Profil von Anastasia anschaute und sah viele Fotos und Videos, worauf viele Hunde und Katzen waren, die oft gehandicapt sind. Da mir besonders gehandicapte Tiere am Herzen liegen, war für mich klar, dass ich sehr gerne über Anastasia und ihre Tiere schreiben wollte. Ich nahm daraufhin Kontakt zu ihr auf und wir führten ein kurzes Interview, welches nun folgt:

Anastasia lebt mit ihrem Mann in Irpin/Ukraine. Sie erfüllte sich einen Kindertraum und eröffnete einen kleinen Shelter mit Hospiz für alte und kranke, gehandicapte Tiere. Wobei auch manche von ihnen adoptiert werden können. Derzeit hat sie 50 Hunde und 15 Katzen. Darunter sind 12 Tiere mit Handicap. Viele der Hunde und Katzen stammen aus den Frontgebieten. Anastasia versucht so gut es geht, allen zu helfen. Die Situation der Strassenhunde und Strassenkatzen hat sich in der Ukraine im Vergleich zu der Zeit vor dem Krieg nicht sonderlich geändert, jedoch interessieren sich mittlerweile mehr Menschen nun für das Schicksal der Tiere. Zu den Strassenhunden und Strassenkatzen kommen nun auch die zurückgelassenen Tiere dazu, die auf der Flucht niemand mitnehmen konnte oder deren Häuser zerbombt und Besitzer getötet wurden.

Aufgrund der vielen Tiere in ihrem Shelter/Hospiz und der schwierigen Lage in Irpin und der Ukraine an sich, ist die besonders die medizinische Versorgung ihrer Tiere eine große Schwierigkeit. Denn jeder Hund und jede Katze muss individuell versorgt werden.

Es ist was ganz besonders, wenn Menschen gerade in der derzeitigen Lage in der Ukraine sich den völlig hilflosen Geschöpfen annehmen und ihnen ein zuhause geben, wo sie in Sicherheit ein können. Menschen, wie Anastasia haben die Menschlichkeit nicht verloren und zeigen ein großes Herz. Leider finden solche Menschen wenig Aufmerksamkeit ausserhalb der Ukraine und versuchen das Beste aus der schwierigen Situation zu machen. Ich ziehe meinen Hut vor ihr.

Shelter / Hospice from Anastasia from Irpin/Ukraine

 

In my friends list on Facebook there is a Ukrainian who is friends with Anastasia from Irpin and animal welfare postings are repeatedly displayed to me via the timeline. So it happened that I looked at Anastasia's profile and saw many photos and videos on which there were many dogs and cats, which are often handicapped.

 

Because handicapped animals are particularly close to my heart, it was clear to me that I really wanted to write about Anastasia and her animals. I then contacted her and we conducted a short interview, which follows:

 

Anastasia lives with her husband in Irpin/Ukraine. She fulfilled a childhood dream and opened a small shelter with a hospice for old, sick, handicapped animals. Some of them can also be adopted. She currently has 50 dogs and 15 cats. Among them are 12 animals with a handicap. Many of the dogs and cats are from the front lines. Anastasia tries as best she can to help everyone. The situation of street dogs and street cats in Ukraine has not changed much compared to before the war, but now more people are interested in the fate of the animals. In addition to the stray dogs and stray cats, there are now also the abandoned animals that nobody was able to take with them when they fled, or whose houses were bombed and their owners killed.

 

Due to the many animals in their shelter/hospice and the difficult situation in Irpin and the Ukraine itself, the medical care of their animals is a big problem. Because every dog ​​and every cat has to be cared for individually.

 

It is something very special when people, especially in the current situation in Ukraine, take care of the completely helpless creatures and give them a home where they can be safe. People like Anastasia have not lost their humanity and show a big heart. Unfortunately, such people find little attention outside of Ukraine and try to make the best of the difficult situation. I tip my hat to her.
